isInvalidated property
bool
get
isInvalidated
Indicates whether this message has reached its terminal lifecycle state.
Where to start
Check this before processing a pulse to ensure it's still valid — especially if it has a PulseEphemeralPolicy.
When to use
- Before processing a pulse to ensure it's valid.
- In custom receptors to skip stale signals.
- Debugging expired pulses.
- Conditional logic based on pulse validity.
How it works
A pulse becomes invalid if its TTL expires or it exceeds its hop limit. The framework checks this automatically, but you can also check manually.
Example
if (pulse.isInvalidated) {
// Pulse is stale, ignore it
return;
}
// Process the valid pulse
Implementation
bool get isInvalidated;
