int get paintedCellCount

How many cell painters are currently held.

This is the cost of the text pass, made observable. It should track the viewport — window rows times painted columns — and never the dataset. A test asserting on it will fail the moment windowing or cache pruning regresses, which is the failure most likely to slip through unnoticed.
