PdfImageSoftMask class

A grayscale alpha plane lifted from an /SMask or stencil /Mask (§11.6.5.2 / §8.9.6.3), to be baked into a base image's alpha channel.

Properties

alpha → Uint8List
Bytes containing the mask samples. Normally this is a compact one-byte plane. A platform codec may instead expose an RGBA buffer with sampleStride 4; retaining that view avoids a full-image channel-copy before the mask is consumed.

The /Matte colour (§11.6.5.3) the base image was preblended against, as straight sRGB bytes [r, g, b], or null when the mask carries no /Matte. When present, pdfApplyImageAlpha un-preblends each covered pixel so the matte fringe does not bleed at partially transparent edges.
