VrLaserPointerDriver class

Reference 3DoF laser pointer for a remote or second smartphone.

The driver keeps a raw sensor orientation and applies a yaw-only recenter offset. Pointer and payload objects are reused across updates; listeners must copy values they need to retain after synchronous dispatch.

Constructors

VrLaserPointerDriver()

Properties

forward → Vector3
Current normalized forward direction.
no setter
hashCode → int
The hash code for this object.
no setterinherited
isAttached → bool
no setter
orientation → Quaternion
Current normalized, recentered pointer orientation.
no setter
priority → VrInputPriority
Laser motion is medium priority even though generic remote-phone input is maximum priority. Direct touch and remote joystick input can supersede it.
no setteroverride
runtimeType → Type
A representation of the runtime type of the object.
no setterinherited
source → VrInputSource
no setteroverride
triggerPressed → bool
no setter
yawOffsetRadians → double
Stored yaw correction in radians.

Methods

attach(VrInputSink sink) → void
override
detach() → void
override
noSuchMethod(Invocation invocation) → dynamic
Invoked when a nonexistent method or property is accessed.
inherited
recenter() → void
Makes the current horizontal heading the new forward direction.
setTrigger(bool pressed) → bool
Emits the complete press/release state of the laser trigger.
toString() → String
A string representation of this object.
inherited
updateOrientation(Quaternion q) → bool
Updates the raw 3DoF pose and emits a pointer movement.

Operators

operator ==(Object other) → bool
The equality operator.
inherited

Constants

forwardKey → const String
Payload key containing the recentered forward Vector3.
orientationKey → const String
Payload key containing the recentered Quaternion.
pressedKey → const String
Payload key containing the trigger pressed state.
